Chief Executive Officer
Jason is a commercial lawyer with over 15 years experience in the mining and banking sectors, most recently as Corporate Advisor to the Indodrill Group and prior to that having spent considerable time at Avocet Mining and JP Morgan Chase. His skill sets include corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, business development, compliance, dispute resolution and man management. He has worked for public and private companies operating throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Jason brings this diverse experience and new direction to the Indodrill Group, with a focus on expanding the business globally and guiding Indodrill towards being a leader among its peers.
John has worked in the exploration, geotechnical and mining industries since 1971 and has vast international experience having worked in the United Kingdom, the Middle East, South America, Africa, Australia and Indonesia. He is very familiar with all forms of land-based operations as well as over-water rigs including barges, jack-up rigs, drill ships and purpose-built vessels. John also has extensive managerial experience in the mineral drilling industry. Initially based in Indonesia, John now resides at the Indodrill Group Headquarters in Singapore.
Peter is a minerals exploration geologist with 30 years' experience in the industry covering the exploration, discovery and feasibility of minerals projects at the senior management level. Previous positions include twelve years with Newmont Mining Corporation, latterly as the Exploration Manager for the Western Pacific, and eleven years with Avocet Mining as the company’s Chief Geologist and Executive Vice President Exploration. Peter is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Signal Delta, a Singapore-based company that focuses on the development of minerals projects in Southeast Asia for private clients. Peter has managed several major drilling programmes in Southeast Asia, West Africa and Central America. As such, he brings to the Indodrill Board considerable experience from a client’s perspective that will assist Indodrill in its global strategy to become a leading client-focused drilling company.
General Manager - Resource Ind Drilling
Matt has been working in the drilling industry for over 22 years. He has held various Senior Management positions within major international drilling companies throughout the world. Matt has extensive and specialised knowledge and experience of both underground and surface drilling, in particular deep hole directional work. He also holds globally recognised qualifications for both auditing and assessing all parts of our industry, focusing on training and development of National Workforces.
General Manager - Group Technical Services
Phil received his United Kingdom CIOB Diploma in Site Management in 1986 followed by his Masters (MSc) in Construction Management. He specialised in Occupational Health and Safety, obtaining his CITB National Certificate followed by a NEBOSH General Certificate. Phil has experience in a large range of mining and exploration projects ranging from large multi rig operations for international clients in both open pit and underground locations and also small remote area exploration sites throughout Southeast Asia. Phil recently completed his Training and Assessing Course in Perth to enable us to solidify our comprehensive in house training programs, and to further broaden his extensive knowledge of the standards and regulations applied across Southeast Asia.
General Manager - Middle East and Africa
John has over 35 years of commercial, administration and management experience in the Accounting and Mining industries, having held a range of operational and consulting roles throughout Australia, Asia and West Africa. In particular, John was previously Country Manager of Ghana for Lycopodium and General Manager of Penjom Gold Mine in Malaysia for JResources. John brings his multi-faceted management skills and successful track record to Indodrill with a focus on expanding our operations in the Middle East and African regions.
Chow Kah Ming
Group Financial Controller
Kah Ming qualified as an accountant in 1986. He has many years of external auditing experiences in various industries with Deloitte & Touche and PriceWaterhouse. He has also worked as the Chief Financial Officer of two publically listed group of companies in Singapore. His experiences include being a Company Secretary and ISO 9000 Management Representative. Among the industries he has worked in are shipbuilding and repairs, infra-structure development and building construction, retailing and hotels.
Country Manager (Cambodia/Laos)
Tom has been involved in the mining, exploration and drilling industries for 15 years and has previously worked for some of Australia’s largest mining and consultancy firms. He has globally recognised accreditations in Drilling, Project Management, Safety and Geotechnics. With an extensive knowledge of all facets of our operations throughout Southeast Asia, he is able to offer clients a professional and practical insight on all drilling and operational requirements. Tom manages our Laos and Cambodia operations
Country Manager (Philippines)
Chris has over 25 years’ drilling experience in the mineral exploration and oil & gas industries and has an extensive background in the implementation of multiple drilling techniques having worked on and managed several international projects, particularly in Asia. Chris holds Diplomas in Drilling Operations and Management and an Advanced Diploma of Drilling Management, providing him with a comprehensive knowledge of drilling and management concepts. A valuable addition to our growing team of professional managers, Chris manages our Philippines operations.
Country Manager (Indonesia)
Peter is a geologist with 35 years' international experience in the minerals industry, including exploration, feasibility and mining, technical, mine and corporate management roles. Previous positions include fourteen years with WMC Limited (now BHP Billiton) and senior management roles in publically listed companies in Australia.
Prior to joining Indodrill, Peter had operated in Indonesia for the last four years as site manager for the Tujuh Bukit copper-gold project and then as Head of Exploration for the Sampoerna Strategic group.
Peter has a wealth of experience managing diamond and percussion drilling programmes in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region as well as managing in-house drill fleets.
